DEAR Marlene AND Chris,

lovely ONE INSTANT production team,

After following the kickstarter campaign of "ONE INSTANT.Analog packfilm re-invented", I was pleased to find out that Supersense is currently seeking to recruit an instant production team member with experience in working with paper, bookbinding, and analog photography, as I believe that I possess the necessary qualifications to support the high quality production process of saving instant analog photography with the ONE INSTANT pack film project.

I was born 10 May 1987 in Szeged, Hungary and my parents moved our family to Austria in 1990 to pursue their careers as scientists. Speaking several languages fluently (English, German, Hungarian as well as some Spanish), I decided to stay in Austria to be close to my loved ones. For many years now, I have been based in Vienna where I have studied, worked, loved, enjoyed life and obsessed over photography. I am the creative "black sheep" in a family of scientists!

I am very familiar with Supersense and its philosophy as I live only a few walking minutes away from the Supersense Palace. I visit the store frequently to sample new merchandise, drink coffee, and buy books – the latest of which was Anna Frey’s “Bücher binden”. I always take friends and guests for a visit as well! I particularly appreciate the unique, quality inventory that you carry. There truly is something for everyone at Supersense, even if one simply takes in the store’s unique atmosphere while sipping their drink and gets inspired by the exceptional merchandise. Personally, I am thrilled with every visit because I am passionate about older printing and photography techniques, and l still love to work with paper in our digitally dependent world. I carry my analog notebook everywhere with me; I use it to collect thoughts, ideas, and to draw up a variety of original projects every day. In my downtime, I have produced books and created fine art prints and small paper goods to hold a visual product which can later be given away or sold.

It fills me with great satisfaction to work with my hands using paper and other materials I find interesting. One of the examples was the book project titled  "Gumpi", for which I had the photographs taken, edited them, and let the book printed digitally. I was thrilled about the opportunity to work in a letterpress manufacture of a friend, as we had few limitations in the production process for the book. The book required us to work incessantly for 2 weeks as we had to boost and reshape the book, and we wanted the final product to be absolutely top quality and unique. We stopped at nothing, and in the end I was very proud of the 31 books produced effectively and precisely. I would be delighted to have the privilege to show you the exceptional workmanship of these selected projects I worked on:

Analog (instant) photography rules and needs to be saved! This 2-day analog photography workshop was intended to advertise this medium to a younger audience. The event was held at BG&BRG Boehaayegasse in Vienna’s 3rd district. Over the course of this workshop, I was able to teach participants the basic principles of exposing and developing using chemical processes in a darkroom. We started with the camera obscura: an entire room became a camera, and we stood inside it. During the second part, we focused on artistic production: participants created photographic products using chemicals in combination with time (exposure). Here is a short photo series of snapshots I took during the production part of the workshop:

As you can see from the two projects I have just highlighted, I am keenly interested in keeping analog photography and paper goods alive, and I am eager to share this passion with others. Supersense’s ONE INSTANT project presents a unique opportunity for me to share my interest with the community in the quintessential environment, just a few steps away from my home. I appreciate Supersense’s exceptional and innovative approach to developing photographic 100 packfilm, and I believe that my interests are uniquely suited to help bring this project to the next level.

Given my interest in the position, I am convinced that we would come to a mutually satisfying agreement concerning the salary, and I will be happy to discuss my thoughts with you in person

It would be my pleasure to meet with you personally in order to discuss how my skills and professional experience would benefit the Supersense team. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
